  El Centro de Documentación (Biblioteca) Alberto Machado Sierra, tiene como objetivo principal satisfacer de manera eficaz las necesidades de información de los usuarios a través de la gestión y difusión de la documentación recibida por compra, canje o donación; además de la producida por Cenicafé, en temas relacionados con café, cultivos asociados y ciencias agrícolas en general; mediante el empleo de tecnologías de información y análisis documental de contenidos para lograr una mejor recuperación de la información.
